1913 USGS map shows the grave of Charles Counts just to the left of the Booth Ferry that spanned the Snake River at Alpine WY. His headstone and remains were moved to Shelton Cemetery, Ririe, ID about 1958 when the Palisades Reservoir was filled.
Originally buried along the river on the John Booth Ranch. Later moved to Ririe Cemetery. Information came from an earlier version of the Alpine Cemetery Register. Snow slide
