There is no headstone for George, only a cement grave marker with no information on it. Although the Ririe Cemetery lists him as being buried here, There is another headstone for him at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Idaho Falls listed as George Elmer Ellis. The Post register lists him as being buried in Rose Hill in Idaho Falls. My guess is that the marker in the Ririe Shelton Cemetery is a location or family plot marker and not a actual headstone. The old velum map shows him buried in Ririe but he is NOT listed in our card file. Rather than being buried maybe he should have been listed as an owner. Blair Moncur 10 Nov 2017.
